Recently, researchers from the People's Hospital of Wuhan University published their research results in Animal Cells and Systems. They used experiments to confirm the speculation that NMN supplementation can rescue levator ani muscle damage by improving mitochondrial function.
To verify the effect of NMN, the researchers treated myoblasts with 500 μM NMN solution for 24 h after they were subjected to excessive mechanical stress, and conducted a control study.
