January 15th

A team from Harbin Medical University published a study showing that NMN supplementation can up-regulate the proportion of NAD+ in senescent cells, restore NAD+ levels, and inhibit tumor growth.

A team from Jinan University in Guangzhou showed that NMN has a preventive effect on chronic social failure stress-induced depressive behavior in mice, and can improve the biosynthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and extracellular ATP levels in the medial prefrontal cortex.

A study by the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in China has shown that NMN can significantly reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients aged 18-80 years.

People with high blood pressure do have low levels of NAD+, and NMN supplementation increases NAD+ levels by 43%.
